Submersible Pumps
PC Smit Pompe have extensive experience in the field of submersible de-watering pump repairs. We are able to service our client's regardless of what product or brands they use.
Centrifugal, Vertical Spindle & Multistage Pumps
PC Smit Pompe was Accredited by KSB Pumps, CRI Fluid Systems and Hidrostal as an Authorized Service Center and have been a leading repairer of their products ever since.
Electric Motors and Armature Rewinds
Our in-house rewind shop is able to perform repairs and rewinds to all standard squirrel cage motors as well as submersible pump motors
Base-plates, Piping and Site Installations
Our Base-plates are in-house built according to each pump/ motor set. All base-plates are manufactured from channel finished with a “QD” under coat and top color as per client specifications with a coupling guard.
General Engineering
The general engineering division welcomes a wide variety of engineering works. The division will also aid in shorter downtime for our customers as repairs will be done quicker and will be more cost-effective.
Performance Testing
Since our inception, our pump test facility has been a fixture in the workshop. Numerous pumps have been tested successfully and many of our client’s headaches’ subverted by being able to test the performance of their pumps.

Our diverse fleet is always ready and capable for all the regular service and maintenance on site as well as assistance for the unforeseen breakdowns and repairs.

Our services include trouble shooting, general service and mechanical repairs to a large variety of petrol or diesel driven generators as well as lister engines. We are also able to do repairs, maintenance and service your Lister Engines.

PC Smit Pompe is a well established company, based in the Lowveld (Nelspruit) for the past 20 years. We concentrate and specialize in refurbishment, repairs and maintenance on a comprehensive range of submersible pumps, electric motors, and centrifugal pumps. PC Smit Pompe services also include pump and motor base fabrication, General Engineering, pipeline fabrication and onsite installations.
We are equipped and able to perform performance tests and offer professional technical test reports for all of the following products;
- Submersible Pumps— (1kW 220V up to 90 kW 525V)
- Centrifugal Pumps— (Client Base plate and motor to be supplied)
